The RTE One show has been airing every January for 17 years, with Kathryn taking over hosting duties from the late Gerry Ryan in 2011

RTE star Kathryn Thomas has thrown doubt over whether or not Operation Transformation will return next year.

“They all stay connected, they all stay going and once you can point somebody in the right direction, put somebody on the right path, that’s all you want to do. “So that was at the time when I had just had Grace, she was only eight weeks old when I went back to work. So that was very raw and very connected, and we felt very connected. And then at the end of that series she found out she was pregnant.”
