It is unclear whether Davis or her unidentified sister made the alleged retort. Davis has been filed with a single child endangerment and child neglect charge, and is believed to be mom to two of the starved kids. Her sibling is believed to be responsible for their elderly mom as well as five children. She is expected to face felony charges.
Four of the children have been returned to their parents, with the remaining seven taken into care by relatives while their mothers – the Davis sisters – are investigated. After removing the youngsters, police fed them pizza and soda, with Chief Burge comparing their delight at finally being fed to having a ‘big party.’
