A Melbourne couple has been terrorised in their home by thugs posing as police during a nightmare incident that has left the retirees too frightened to walk down the street. The shaken Hampton Park locals were ordered to drop to the floor after the men turned up at their front door just before 3am on Friday.
Thugs posing as police terrorise elderly couple in their home. After ripping off a smart doorbell camera, the impersonators pried open a security screen and kicked in the front door. Neil and Bev Shepard were asleep when they heard a big bang, and their home was stormed by two men shouting “police, police”. Neil said it unfolded quickly and while trying to absorb what was happening, his main concern was his wife.
