New details have emerged of the alleged murder of Ipswich grandmother Vyleen White, who died after she was stabbed in an apparent random attack at a shopping centre carpark south of Brisbane on the weekend. White’s husband Victor spoke to 7NEWS saying they should be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this year, instead he is organising his wife’s funeral.

Victim’s husband gives chilling new details of wife’s alleged murder. “I’m dealing with it the best way I can at the moment,” Victor said. “When they stabbed her, they stabbed me.” White, 70, was shopping at Town Square Redbank Plains with a six-year-old girl on Saturday evening, when she was allegedly attacked by a group of teenagers who proceeded to steal her car. “Sadly, the motive was to steal a Hyundai Getz,” detective acting superintendent Heath McQueen said on Monday.
