One lucky person will be more than $1 million richer this week — all they need to do now is check their lottery ticket. The $1.7 million winning ticket in Lotto Strike draw 5412 on Saturday is held by a mystery Western Sydney entrant. The ticket was purchased at a Quakers Hill newsagency and is the draw’s only division one-winning entry. Which means the ticket holder has won the entire $1.7 million jackpot prize. But they may have no idea they have won, The Lott’s James Eddy said.
“Make sure you check your ticket — which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glove box — because the winner could be you, and you could be planning what to do with your prize.” Lotto Strike is an “add-on” game played with the Lotto draws each Saturday, Monday and Wednesday. Winners need to select the first four numbers of the draw, in the exact order they are drawn in. If no one can do that, the prize pool will jackpot for the next draw.
