RTE bosses are reportedly doing everything possible to ensure that Ryan Tubridy will go out in style by having his dream guest join him on his final Late Late Show.
While RTE chiefs go through the process of selecting Tubridy's successor, they are also planning for the veteran broadcaster's last show by arranging for Paul McCartney to join him for his farewell on May 26.The Irish Sun reports that Tubridy, whose 14 years as The Late Late Show host comes to an end this summer, will likely be rewarded with an interview with The Beatles star, that may take place over Zoom, on his final show.
"You can bet Paul McCartney will be turning up to wish Tubs well on his last night on Zoom or in the studio."
