Baz Ashmawy backs 'best person' for Ryan Tubridy's Late Late replacement

DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland is returning to screens this Sunday with Baz Ashmawy leading the team as they kick off the fourth series with a challenging renovation in Cork city.

While one great show returns to screens, another is coming to the end of an era, as Ryan Tubriday will be soon stepping down from The Late Late Show at the end of it's current season. There has been much speculation regarding who will replace the broadcaster on the show, and Baz has shared that he back's the best person fro the job.The bookies favourites to replace Ryan are Claire Byrne, Miriam O'Callaghan, Sarah McInerney and Angela Scanlan.“It just so happens that the best three are women, ironically. But they should get it because they’re the best, not because they’re women.

“And I think there is loads of power. I feel the most powerful person really because I don’t want for anything.The new series of DIY SOS: The Big Build Ireland will kick off on Sunday at 6.30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.READ MORE
