After a wave of reports this week positioned Jessica Biel as taking a stand against children getting vaccinations, the mother and actress took to social media to set the record straight.

Why is she against such a good bill? Requiring medical evidence of a contraindication is prudent and is the foundation of sound medical decisions and care. Parents shouldn’t be allowed to make epidemiological decisions without providing convincing weight of evidence.

If there is a legit medical issue why someone can not get the vaccine, then there should be no problems with showing medical documentation that there was an issue. This bill is just making it harder for people to lie about their 'medical reasons' for not vaccinating.
