Biel made the rounds in Sacramento on Tuesday, joining with ant-vaxx activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at the California State Assembly to lobby against, a state bill that would limit medical exemptions from vaccinations without approval from a state public health officer.
Biel and husband Justin Timberlake were reported to have avoided vaccinating their children, but have never publicly spoken of their opposition. “Please say thank you to the courageous @jessicabiel for a busy and productive day at the California State House,” Kennedy posted on Instagram. Several other politicians posted photos of themselves posing with Biel.
She supports “families having the right to make educated medical decisions…” And makes the least medically educated decision possible.
This is why no one should listen nor give platforms to celebrities. They are entertainers. Period.
Please do not assume she’s anti-vax! The CA bill would make government officials, instead of family doctors, the final decision makes on medical interventions. This isn’t just about the MMR vaccine. Others, including vaccines the don’t even recommend in Europe would be mandated!
She was always the one with the worst judgment of the 7th Heaven kids. Maybe her character's lack of common sense translated into real life!
She’s thirsty for attention.
It seems everyone knows someone who has been injured by vaccines these days. I know there has to be ways to make them safer. Well done for her for sticking up for the vulnerable children.
