Love Island newbie Amy Hart's dad was reportedly booted off the airwaves of his BBC radio show after making an offensive comment to a listener.

The 54-year-old and his colleague Andrew Hawes were taken off the airwaves after making the comment, The Sun reports. Ian apologised "unreservedly" for his comments, saying: "In that split second I didn't realise the severity of what I was saying.The BBC also apologised at the time, saying: "The BBC takes this kind of issue extremely seriously and action is being taken."
