The Coronation Street star is expecting a baby with her husband Ben Silver, with the news coming just a few months after their wedding day.
The actress, who plays Shona Ramsey in the ITV soap, said: "Ben and I are delighted to announce that we are expecting our first baby at the end of this year!They were congratulated by Corrie stars including Lucy Fallon and Samia Longchambon. Julia, who is the on-screen lover of Jack P Shepherd's character David Platt, and teacher Ben tied the knot on stage in Manchester’s Albert Hall in February.Ben said of seeing his wife-to-be for the first time in her dress: "As soon as I saw Julia, I just knew it was the best day of my life."
Julia had been dating Ben for three years, when he proposed to her on his 30th birthday, and they decided to keep it secret for 10 months.
