Coronation Street star joins Emmerdale as mysterious new arrival John Sugden

Actor Oliver Farnworth is confirmed to be making his debut in Emmerdale in August and will join the soap as John Sugden.

On joining the show, Oliver said: "I am absolutely delighted to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. The show has such a rich history, and the Sugden family is integral to that. I’m looking forward to bringing my character to life and working with such a talented and dedicated team."Emmerdale’s Producer, Laura Shaw, is also excited for Oliver’s on-screen appearance. She added: "We are thrilled to have an actor with Oliver's talent and presence join the Emmerdale family.

“He's gonna bring lots of drama to the Dales, which I'm gonna keep quite tight lipped about for now.”
