Coronation Street's Paula Lane, who once played the beloved character Kylie Platt, left fans devastated when her character was tragically killed off in the soap. Initially introduced as a villain, she quickly became a fan favourite. In January 2024, Paula made the switch to Emmeradle where she joined the cast as Ella Forster.
Paula's acting journey began shortly after drama school when she secured a role in Heartbeat, marking her television debut as Wendy Kelshaw, a teacher. Since then, she has featured in Terry Pratchett's Going Postal for Sky, The Royal, Doctors and even starred alongside Stephen Mangan in the short film War Wounds.
Paula's theatre credits are nothing short of impressive, having portrayed Rachel in 'Be More Martyn', Lily in 'The Bengal Lily', and Lauren in the UK tour of 'Kinky Boots'. She also graced the stage in 'Road' at the Oldham Coliseum. The lovebirds tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at Leeds Cathedral in May 2014 and soon after, they welcomed their bundle of joy, a son named Arthur, in December 2014.
