Television legend Daryl Somers has dedicated his Victorian of the Year award to his late friend and Hey Hey It's Saturday colleague John Blackman.

The three-time Gold Logie winner said it was an"honour" to receive the award, which came a week after Blackman's funeral Blackman performed voiceover work on popular variety show Hey Hey It's Saturday - which was hosted by Somers - for three decades, including as character Dickie Knee.
