Billy Ray Cyrus arrives at the 31st annual MusiCares Person of the Year benefit gala honoring Joni Mitchell on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. Those claims come days after news broke that Cyrus filed a motion in a Tennessee court seeking an emergency temporary restraining order against his wife, Firerose.
Cyrus, 62, denied Firerose’s claims while reportedly admitting that he was “certainly vocal, frustrated and angry.” However, in court filings, he reportedly claimed that “it is the Plaintiff who, in fact, has been abused.” He also disputed Firerose’s claims of abuse by saying if true it would be “mindboggling to try and explain why, upon vacating premarital residence, would leave a handwritten note and then send him a text message stating in her word, ‘I am sorry’ and ‘please give me a chance to make this right. I can explain everything but I need you on my side.’”. He can be heard on “The Opening Kickoff” on WNSP-FM 105.5 FM in Mobile or on the free Sound of Mobile App from 6 to 9 a.m. daily.
