Australian Olympian Jana Pittman has admitted it hurts her that she never reached her full potential on the athletics track. Pittman won gold for Australia at two world championships and two Commonwealth Games, but was denied an Olympic medal, largely due to untimely injuries. She made her Olympic debut at Sydney 2000 as a 17-year-old but it wasn’t until the next cycle that she really hit her straps.
