A family walk is at 10 a.m. June 15 at Batiquitos Lagoon. Participants learn about the the lagoon, a protected space, during the 1-mile flat walking tour. The walk will be led by Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation docents who will share the lagoon’s history and talk about the species that live there as well as the plant communities of the lagoon environments. Supplies will be on hand, but participants are encouraged to bring their own reusable gloves, bag/bucket and water bottle.
