Bethesda head Todd Howard says they're already planning future Fallout games following the success of Amazon Prime Video's TV show.

After the roaring success of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout, it’s no surprise that the Bethesda video game series, which it was based on, is one of the biggest beneficiaries. Following the exciting cliffhanger ending of Lucy MacLean and The Ghoul’s story in Season 1, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, Fallout Shelter, and Fallout 76, all received hefty boosts in concurrent players, with the latter finally breaking the massive 20 million player milestone.

Luckily, Todd Howard has shed a sliver of light on their plans in the same article. Towards the end of the interview, Howard said, “We’re in plans for future games in this series.” But since “games take a good five-ish years ,” nothing to talk about right now, but we’re always planning,” he added. Now, this isn’t exactly a surprise since capitalizing on the visibility that the show provides is almost a necessity.
