A no-nonsense Hollywood heavyweight has engaged in a fiery clash with Trump supporters after speaking outside the former president's hush money trial on behalf of the Biden campaign.American actor Robert De Niro has stepped out on the busy streets of New York City in support of President Joe Biden's campaign, clashing with Donald Trump supporters in the process.
While the Biden campaign was initially hesitant to engage with the Trump trial, according to AP, it eventually made the decision in order to cut through the high public interest and send a message to voters. "Under Trump, this kind of government will perish from the Earth. I don't mean to scare you. No, wait, maybe I do mean to scare you. If Trump returns to the White House, you can kiss these freedoms goodbye, that we all take for granted," he said.
