Where there’s humidity or rain, there can be mould — but there’s a simple hack to banish it from your home. A $6.60 cleaning item from Woolworths and Coles has been praised for its ability to remove the potential health hazard. Cleaning and laundry expert Amelia Liddy Sudbury says the trick is in the fact that it is a “thick” disinfectant bleach. “I swear by Domestos,” the mum said in a now-viral video. “My mum used it, my grandmother used it, it should be in every house in Australia.

“You only need to wipe once or twice and, look, the mould comes straight off.” The mum shared a video of herself getting rid of the “scary and stubborn” mould. “All I need is a little bit of Domestos on one of these old towel rags,” the cleaning expert said. “They will wipe the mould away instantly when you use Domestos. “It’ll also remove all the stains quickly and effectively.
