Gavin Jennings takes over for Bryan Dobson on RTE Radio 1

Gavin Jennings has taken over for Bryan Dobson as RTE search for the veteran newsreader’s replacement.

Bryan spoke to listeners for the last time at the end of last Friday’s show as he thanked everyone he’s worked with over his 37-year career. “My gratitude is to also everyone who I have worked with at RTE over 37 years, on Morning Ireland, Six One News, Nine O'clock news and the very many one off news specials, documentaries and feature programmes which I've been fortunate enough to be involved in.”
