BBC Radio 2 in the Park in Preston: how to get tickets, dates and venue

The countdown is on after the BBC announced that Radio 2 In The Park will travel to Preston for the 2024 event.

Last year's event in Leicester was headlined by global superstar Kylie Minogue. and also featured Tears For Fears. The full artist line-up for the Preston event will be revealed in early June.Helen Thomas, head of Radio 2, said: "I’m delighted that this year’s Radio 2 In The Park will take place in Preston.

"This is a brilliant coup for Preston and will be a huge boost for the city. We can’t wait to hear who the line-up is for this year and to welcome thousands of Radio 2 listeners to proud Preston!"Where is the venue and what are the dates? The two-day event will be held in the Grade II* listed Moor Park, which sits on the outskirts of Preston city centre, on Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8. It retains a Green Flag Award in recognition of its heritage and maintenance.

How can I get tickets? The BBC said tickets won't go on sale until 'shortly after' the full artist line-up is released in June. However, 40 lucky Radio 2 listeners were given free tickets at Deepdale this morning as part of a competition.
