AN Egyptian-American comedian, actor and director called for an end to violence and suffering in Palestine on Saturday Night Live's global stage.

As the week's SNL host, Youssef opened with: “I love Ramadan because I love hanging out with Muslims. We’re so loving and I feel that people don’t know that about us. We love to love, we’re so free with it.” Unfortunately, though, these important debates are being spoiled by a vocal minority of trolls who aren’t really interested in the issues, try to derail the conversations, register under fake names, and post vile abuse.
