American Fiction, The Holdovers and Oppenheimer are among the films in the running for Best Picture at the 96th Academy Awards on Sunday – here’s where you can watch all the nominees in the UK on TV and streaming platforms

On Sunday , the biggest stars from Hollywood and beyond will gather in Los Angeles for the 96th Academy Awards. Cinephiles from around the world are tuning into the biggest night of awards season, where film stars celebrate the best filmmaking achievements of the past year.

The biopic will once again go up against Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, with the two films picking up a total of 21 nominations – eight for Barbie and thirteen for Oppenheimer. Martin Scorsese’s epic neo-western Killers of the Flower Moon is also in the running – if it wins it will be the veteran director’s first Best Picture and second overall Oscar after his Best Director gong for The Departed.

Anatomy of a Fall Billed as a “Hitchcockian procedural thriller,” Anatomy of a Fall follows a woman who must prove her innocence after the unexpected death of her husband. The French legal drama premiered at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the coveted Palme d'Or and later earned nominations in five categories at the Oscars, including Best Director and Best Original Screenplay.

Barbie is also available to watch on Prime Video in SD, HD and UHD, where it can be rented from £1.99 and bought for £7.99. Killers of the Flower Moon is available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+ and can be enjoyed free thanks to Apple’s seven-day free trial. This also includes access to blockbuster shows like Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’ World War II epic Masters of the Air.

Oppenheimer is available to watch on Prime Video in SD, HD and UHD, where it can be rented from £3.49 and bought for £13.99. It is also available to rent or buy on Apple TV+ for £4.99 or £13.99 respectively.
