To mark this year’s International Women’s Day, Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, Alumni Association, AWEAA, has urged the Nigerian government to provide enabling environment by creating policies that allow women to have access to products and services.

She said: “It’s not as glamorous as it looks. Entrepreneurship is a lot of hard work. But first thing is for the young women to identify a problem they will want to solve and go after it fearlessly. She further explained that the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs Alumni Association is the biggest women network with over 800 women and one of the projects of the US government and funded by the US government.

Earlier, the Vice President of AWEAA, Victoria Ajayi, who noted that the association was made up of over 870 women said the forum was put together to discuss possible ways to further enhance the women businesses especially, in the face of economic challenges.
