Within the space of a year, Maya Jama has become a British Vogue cover star, a Dolce & Gabbana ambassador and a front-row regular. The Love Island presenter is now as familiar a sight in the fashion capitals as she is at the fire pit, ready to banish another romantic hopeful from the villa. Perhaps unsurprisingly, given her friendship with Dolce , Milan is increasingly close to Jama’s heart.
“It’s a beautiful champagne satin trench coat with a ruched dress – also in champagne,” Jama told Vogue ahead of the show. Between the conical bustier effect to the bodice – “Madonna-esque”, as Jama says – and the accessories , it’s a look designed to get you noticed. “There were just so many incredible pieces , but I saw this and it just stood out,” Jama says. “I’ve never really worn this colour before, and when I tried it on it was so flattering – and had the perfect coat to match.
