Electoral Violence: Army Hands Over 44 Suspects To Police In Taraba.

The Nigerian Army says it has handed over 44 suspects arrested for electoral violence to the police in Taraba State.

According to him, the arrest was made possible following the military operations during and after the 2019 general elections in the state. “I am here today on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, the General Officer Commanding 3 Division, and also the Commander 23 Armoured Brigade, to hand over suspects that were found culpable before, during and after the 2019 general elections.

“We have gone round all the flashpoints. The suspects are those that we intercepted during the course of our operation. They were also intercepted with dangerous and offensive equipment such as two Dane guns, six machete, four buses, 42 arrows, one live cartridge of 7.62mm special,” he stated.

Nonsense, what are they handing over, innocent people, what about those military that snatch ballon box, disrupt election, they never bring their face to justice.

And some of d so called suspects are innocent Tarabans. At least I no of one. It was an operation 'swam and pack' where they arrested people Last Wednesday following reports of violence in Jalingo. And d innocent were in it

What about the men on military uniform that was seen doing all the rubbish during the elections

Taraba. Wht a skim. The real deal is Rivers. Let them bring the suspects they apprehended in rivers or as a matter of fact I think the real suspects is the Army
