A child has died in an incident involving a lift at a school for students with disabilities in Sydney’s Upper North Shore. The incident occurred at St Lucy’s School on Cleveland St in Wahroonga on Wednesday afternoon.
Police arrived at the scene and found a 10-year-old boy was trapped under a lift. Fire and Rescue NSW attempted to rescue the boy however he died at the scene. “Police have established a crime scene and a recovery operation is continuing,” NSW Police said. A report will be prepared for the coroner. More to come ...
