Matthew Perry’s longtime personal assistant has spoken out after his shock death. In a moving Instagram post accompanied by photos, Briana Brancato, 34, said her “heart was heavy” over the sudden passing of the beloved Friends actor. Perry, 54, was found unresponsive in the jacuzzi of his Los Angeles home on October 28.
Perry had been referring to himself as “Mattman” in his final days, and the continued use of the ‘Batman’ trope had started to worry some followers, who particularly pointed to one post in which he showed a video of the moon. The Batman symbol in the sky is known as a distress signal as a means to summon the superhero. A source, however, told People that Perry “was having fun” with the posts and was “incredibly happy”.
