House of Extraordinary People mum with 'lumpy' skin takes incredibly brave step

But the 43-year-old from Huddersfield suffers from a skin condition, neurofibromatosis type 1, which leaves her with lumps all over her face and skin.Even on her good days she finds the constant stares from strangers hard to handle and admits "if I could wave a magic wand and make it all go away, I would".She is one of nine people taking part in new Channel 5 show, House of Extraordinary People.

I feel for her. Not because of the skin problem, but because she doesn't seem to know she's got gorgeous eyes and is in fact rather attractive
