The eThekwini Municipality is allegedly planning on dropping over R25 million to hosts the 29th annual South African Music Awards this year.

The eThekwini Municipality will allegedly be spending over a whopping R25 million to host the 2023 South African Music Awards which will be held at the Durban International Convention Centre over a two-day ceremony on 17 and 18 November,South African Music Awards

are held every year to recognize accomplishments in the South African recording industry. The event aims to honour and celebrate individuals and groups who have excelled in the relevant entry or qualifying period.As per usual, the best female and male artists of the year, as well as the best newcomer of the year will be announced at the upcoming ceremony.
