Boiling Point fans have shared their disappointment as a new spin-off to the hugely popular Stephen Graham film debuted on the BBC on Sunday night.
The series is a sequel to the original nail-biting film which was based in a busy restaurant kitchen and was all shot in just one take. The drama followed chef Andy Jones as he balanced along a knife's edge as multiple personal and professional crises saw him unravel during one of the restaurant's busiest nights of the year.
Andy, played by Stephen, has returned for the spin-off - which takes place some eight months after the film. On X, formerly Twitter, Penny said: "I've had to put subtitles on", while @captainblack_oo said: "I was looking forward to Boiling Point [but] the audio is dreadful.
Victoria said: "I can't work out if I'm going deaf or my TV volume is broken or if this audio is c***" and Dave said: "I can hardly make out the dialogue in Boiling Point! I feel like my head is under water". Jess said: "Gutted, really want to watch this but the sound is ruining it for me".
