Going To Tribunal 'Not The Right Decision', Agbakoba Tells Atiku.

A former president of the Nigerian Bar Association , Dr Olisa Agbakoba, has appealed to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party , Atiku Abubakar, to accept the outcome of the presidential election.

He explained that the voting pattern for the poll showed that ethnicity played a significant role in the exercise. The former NBA President said he understood the grievance of the opposition party but a lot needed to be done in reforming the nation’s politics and the electoral process. The voting pattern for the 2019 Presidential Election shows ethnicity played a significant role in the Election. President Muhammadu Buhari kept his base in the North while former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar largely held his base in the South.

I understand the PDP is aggrieved about the outcome of the Election and alleged massive irregularities. But I urge former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar not to approach the Election Petition Tribunal. There is also a lot of work to be done in both political and electoral reforms. I request former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar to step into the shoes.

If AA had rigged this election will you also ask PMB not to go to court. Nigeria is a nation of faint hearted people who hide behind peace when there is no war. The people asking AA to let go are the same people that will call him names as they call PGEJ name. giANT of Africa.

Atiku has every right to go to court if he wishes. However, I belief he will have no headway at the end of the day. Truth is bitter!

Rubbish statement. So Atiku should allow impunity to prevail? If not challenged, it will continue and it will be a betrayal of your country and those who queued for hours and struggled to vote for real change. GetBackThePeople'sMandate

On the contrary it is, we can't continue like this, in any civilized community this just concluded election holds no water, it's a sham.. We should learn as Nigerian to tell things the way it is, sadly in this part of the world, wrong is right while right is wrong

I believe Atiku has the right to approach the court to get justice just as Buhari did during past elections before he became a civilian president. There may be some useful informations and evidences he has that can help deepen our democratic and electoral principles.

He shld just accept defeat 😀

Let him go jooh so the lawyers can eat part of his money you don't have to advice him to carry his Cross he did not want to atiquite or atiblame

How can you say the situation would repeat itself in 2023 and atiku shouldn't avert it now

It’s time for everybody to carry their cross. Whatever next level brings for any region. Carry your cross. We can’t keep pampering those who want to destroy themselves. Let them have Buhari and his maladministration.
