What time does The Late Late Show start as Patrick Kielty makes hosting debut

The Co Down native has said he is "excited" to make his debut on Friday night and hopes to take it all in dispute some butterflies ahead of the show.

Patrick is well used to presenting and performing live, with almost three decades of stand-up comedy and TV experience under his belt before he takes on one of the most iconic roles on Irish television.His first show on Friday, September 15 is sure to go down in history as he takes the baton from previous host Ryan Tuberty and fans are excited to see a new face bring something different to the show.

The first host to hail from Northern Ireland, the Dundrum man said it will be different to hear a NI accent in the hosting seat but is ready to take on the fun. His first guests are yet to be revealed but big names such as fellow Co Down legend Jamie Dornan and NI acting superstar James Nesbitt are only some of the suspected potential guests whose names are flying around.
