Late stage actor Richard Hughes bequeaths Clovelly house to Starlight Children’s Foundation - realestate.com.au

Richard, who appeared in productions in the 1960s at Kirribilli’s Ensemble Theatre where Lorraine Bayly from The Sullivans was a founding member, passed away at the age of 77 in late 2022.

An extended family of grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins also lived locally, and Richard enjoyed the freedoms of a typical suburban Australian childhood of the 1950s, exploring the local area and going to the beach with his cousins. Together with Barry, his partner of more than 40 years, Richard cared attentively for his mum Beryl and his aunt June for many years until they passed away in their nineties.
