The Annual Rods and Rails car show took place this weekend in Capreol and was a showcase for cars, trucks and memories

The 10th annual Rods N’ Rails Classic Car Show hit Bloor Street in Capreol on June 18, with the street lined with classic cars, technological marvels, old memories and new ones.

Ray Campbell, owner of an El Camino Royal Knight, told Sudbury.com he fell in love with cars in the 1970s when he fell head over heels for a 69 GTO Judge. “When I was a child in grade school a French school teacher had a 1966 Oldsmobile 98 two-door hardtop in the same dark plum, and I grew up my whole life always remembering that colour,” said Viette. “So when I saw this Cadillac for sale, I bought it immediately because of the colour.”“She ordered this car with the specific colors. [Plum is] a very rare color, only available in 1969 in the dark plum with a plum interior.
