XG should be on that list even if they sing in English they promote in Korea, speak Korean, all have been through the Korean training system and the music is basically Kpop. XG is a kpop group for me

WayV's in the funny limbo where they are technically Kpop because they are part of a kpop company, they speak Korean, live in Korea, and occasionally promote in Korea. I would only count them as C-pop if they actually lived in China and if their company was Chinese.

this is really weird and cool. But shouldn't the genre be called ...something else? Kpop has to be Korean. Not saying you can't have the same idea or even industry, or even language, for that matter, but if the overall feel isn't Korean, it's not Kpop.
