The Goldbergs Lainey Actor Wants To Be In The Show's Final Episode

The Goldbergs is finally coming to an end, and Lainey actor AJ Michalka wants to be there for it. AJ Michalka’s Lainey was a key member of the cast of The Goldbergs up until the show’s sixth season, when she departed the show to lead her own spinoff sitcom Schooled. While Schooled ended after just two seasons, Michalka’s own career as a singer and performer has continued to keep her away from The Goldbergs outside of a few guest appearances.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Lainey most recently returned in The Goldbergs season 10, episode 14, but Michalka has revealed that she hopes to be a part of the series finale. It would be a fitting return given Lainey’s deep history with Barry – and the Barry and Lainey moments on Schooled – in addition to Michalka’s time spent on the series.
