A new trailer has hit the web for, a music documentary that will premiere next month on Disney+.The feature-length film will see Oscar-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville capturing David Letterman on his first visit to Dublin to hang out with the two Irish musicians and to join them for a concert performance"unlike any they've done before".
While Letterman has been close with U2 for years, he had previously only spent time with Bono and the Edge in the US. As well as being their guest at an intimate concert performance at the former Ambassador Cinema building at the top of O'Connell Street, the talk show host will also be seen in the documentary visiting the legendary Forty Foot swimming spot and taking a DART to Wicklow.
On top of this. the documentary will show Bono and The Edge having a sing-song at McDaid's pub off Grafton Street, alongside Glen Hansard, Markéta Irglová, Imelda May, Loah, Saint Sister, Grian Chatten of Fontaines DC and Dermot Kennedy.Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming with Dave Letterman will premiere on Disney+ on 17 March, the same day as U2 release their new album 'Songs of Surrender'.
