This could be the next Banshees of Inisherin...

Screen Ireland today announced its supporting of upcoming feature film. The film, which will be UK-based director Chris Andrew's debut feature, is set to star both Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott.The news of the pairs starring was confirmed today in an exclusive first-look image, which showed the pair in action as the film's main characters .

Keoghan will now set his sights on next month's Oscar's ceremony in Los Angeles, for which he is also nominated in the same category for the same role. The former Love/Hate star will be hoping that his BAFTA win will be a precursor for what would be an historic Oscar win, as he seeks to dethrone the favourite Ke Huy Quan, who featured in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Bring Them Down is also set to star a host of other well-known names in the acting world, with fellow Irishman Colm Meaney, Brooklyn star Nora-Jane Noone and Happy Valley actress Susan Lynch all set to be involved in the feature.
