Alec Baldwin to face involuntary manslaughter charges for movie shooting death

The film's armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, will also be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter, district attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies said in a statement posted to social media. The movie's assistant director, David Halls, has agreed to a plea agreement on a charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon. Halls will face six months of probation, Carmack-Altwies said.

No charges will be filed on the specific shooting of “Rust” director Joel Souza, who was injured on set.Worth noting:

and what about the prop person who’s ORIGINALLY and OFFICIALLY in charge?! That’s the one who should be going to jail.

I dont think he was solely to blame. Prop people too. If he would have fired only one shot, saw damage and stopped is one thing, buts its my understanding he was firing after producer fell over.

That's correct. That is the appropriate charge here. If a police officer fully trained in firearms and firearm safety accidentally discharges his sidearm and kills someone - they are always charged with involuntary manslaughter. Baldwin can't get a pass if trained police don't.

What a bunch of shiiiiit. Wonder if it is a Trump appointed judge cus he hated Baldwin. PUT TRUMP IN JAIL FIRST!!!
