The report revealed that Pacific Rim: Uprising actress Cailee Spaeny is in talks to star in the lead role after becoming the top choice of the studio following multiple meetings with producers and Álvarez.

It confirms that the franchise will retain a female lead, allowing Cailee Spaeny to follow in the footsteps of Sigourney Weaver, Noomi Rapace, and Katherine Waterston. It's not exciting if it doesn't finish David's story. This will either strike the last two films from canon, or be a reboot in relation to the FX series as they can't have Xenomorphs unless they originate from LV-426 as the prequels explicitly state David created that DNA strain.
I would love to get back this feeling when watching alien again. Plz do my girl some justice in her future movies.
