Yes, I agree that Ridley needs to 'finish' the David storyline..the Prometheus-Covenant double lost it's way. 'Covenant' just does NOT feel like the Sequel to 'Prometheus' but there is enough there for a good writer to get the third film back on track & finish the tale..

Wario64 The franchise really needs a decade long break. I love Ridley and the franchise but the last few films have created confusion and has failed to spark much interest in this franchise. Maybe a retcon back to a film that occurs right after Aliens? Something like Halloween did.

Ugh, finish David's story first. There's massive plot threads hanging and the last film sat up Aliens vs. Marines vs. Engineers. Now with the apparent restructuring of the series what's even canon anymore? The 1-4 storyline? Or 'Prometheus', 'Covenant', 'Alien', 'Aliens'?
