Bluesound has announced the launch of its brand-new PULSE M wireless speaker. This is the first product from Bluesound to feature the Omni-Hybrid speaker system with its angled and up-firing 133mm woofer, plus dual 19mm tweeters offset at 45 degrees from each other. A custom-designed acoustic reflector above the woofer diffuses unwanted sonic artifacts while directing the driver's higher frequencies out and away from the speaker, producing a 360° soundstage.
The PULSE M has a meticulously engineered power supply and a DSP smart amplifier that produces 80W of power for real-time monitoring and control of frequency bandwidth, dynamic range and distortion. Bluesound says the result is a direct, clear and lush sound from almost any listening angle. The PULSE M is housed in an elliptical cabinet measuring just 8 inches high, which means it’s small enough to fit almost anywhere. For extra placement flexibility, there’s an optional WM230 wall mount or FS230 adjustable floor stand. The PULSE M is available in Satin Black or White finishes and the drivers are covered with an acoustically transparent fabric grille that blends in with most décors.
When it comes to listening to music, the PULSE M can access over 20 integrated music streaming services and thousands of internet radio stations directly from the BluOS Controller app. Quick-access playback, including volume controls and five presets are available on the top of the player with a proximity-sensing touch panel display.
