A nine-year-old Queensland girl is being hailed as a hero this morning after leaping into action to save her unconscious mother's life.

Charli called Triple Zero to save her mum's life after Sharon passed out."I just remembered my address and mum's phone number."Ambulance operator Anne Barklimore, who took Charli's call, said the girl was one of the most composed callers she had ever heard."I needed her to know she wasn't alone. I needed her to know I was here with her and I was going to stay with her," Barklimore said.
