Kathryn Thomas has revealed she has set her sights on her own permanent RTE Radio show after filling in for Ray D’Arcy for years.

I’ve been doing radio now for years, and I love Ray and his show and the team and it is a real honour to sit in the chair and hold the fort for him when he takes holidays.
“So to think about going somewhere else, I mean you’d never say never but right now I’m really happy and I’ve had great relationships with people there and have great respect for the organisation.” “I became a mother quite late but I did all my travelling and nice holidays when I didn’t have to provide for anybody. I was so independent.
