'She was fearful, but she had the courage,' Busi Lurayi celebrated at memorial service | Channel

Busi Lurayi’s father, Freddie Mokoena, says his daughter will go well when her funeral service is held on Wednesday.The Safta winning actor died at her home on 10 July.

These were the words said by award-winning actor Busi Lurayi's father, Freddie Mokoena, as he wrapped up his speech during her memorial service. Lurayi'sDuring his speech, Mokoena said the funeral service for the"It's hard. It's really, really hard [but] we move on, we're not going to be scared," he said.. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

She added that while Lurayi played many roles, including being the family's designated cook, her biggest role was being a mother to her daughter, Ayana.Faith, Lurayi's cousin-sister, thanked the actor for being the light in her life, her baby sister, and her first best friend."I just want to thank you, Busi, for your love for me, your generosity, and for expressing it. I want to thank you for Ayana, and may your light and spirit continue to live through her.
