Close friends and colleagues say Busi Lurayi always spoke her mind and was an advocate for actors' rights.Her untimely death came as a shock for South Africans. One morning she was bagging gigs like no one’s business and the next, she was no more.

“We were talking about a new project on Wednesday and that was the last day we actively communicated. She wasn’t feeling well and took a bit of a nap, and then her phone was off,” he says.
