Ryan Tubridy didn't know how long he would survive after becoming the newest presenter of The Late Late Show in 2009.

Tubs was terrified on his opening night and now, 13 years on, he is celebrating the show's 60 anniversary on air this year this month.Ryan said: "[I was] under no illusion as to the enormity of the task, the expectations. It was one of the most grown up things I have ever had to go, and I am not great at grown up things."And I am still here, 13 years later, which is remarkable.

The father of two wants to stay hosting the show for the foreseeable future and he has no plans to step away."I have no plans to go anywhere. It is just one of those beautiful jobs and I look forward to work every day.Ryan is also predicting another 60 years of for The Late Late Show because it has so much soul, and that is what the viewers relate to.
