universe as the Jedi Master and Anakin Skywalker’s former mentor, who was privy to his transformation into Darth Vader.in Sydney, Australia in 2003, I think. So it’s been quite some time — almost 20 years,” McGregor said.
While laughing, the actor admitted he “didn’t do them in one go,” but that it was “really interesting” to rewatch the first movie, which also starred Liam Neeson as Obi-Wan’s mentor Qui-Gon Jinn and Ahmed Best as Jar Jar Binks, the Gungan military commander and politician.
We always here for you Mr. Kenobi!

The initial reception is the true one. People let nostalgia taint their revision of things. Especially things they saw as kids. Be sure they still sucked, Ewan.
I recently rewatched these movies and McGregor is among the only ones who escape unscathed. It’s uncanny how he captures the vibe of Alec Guinness in those movies.
Hot take after re-watching with my Kids: I, II & III are better than VII, VIII & IX 🤷♂️
Those aren't Scottish teeth. Where'd you get your teeth, prick?
people had wayyyyyyyyy too high expectations. as a kid i loved them but as an adult i recognize that even though they weren’t as horrible as everyone made it seem, they were also fun.
The ones who love them were born after they were released. So they havent a concept of whats good or bad. What makes sense or not. Those prequels turned the force into some weird disease. 'If T-Count is this level then its darkside but this level is Yoda'. Gtfoh
He joking right? People detest the prequels. Jar-Jar Binks, nuff said.
Lots of whining from the “George Lucas ruined my childhood” types I see
Embraced by the kids we made them for? Right. What 8 year old wouldn’t be interested in trade embargos and the meeting of the senate?
Say yes to life 🏵️ ;)
That is a joke, right?
Because they are waaaay better than those Godawful Disney sequels
What people🤣
I’ve still only seen the original trilogy (at least 100 times) and it’s nice to not have an opinion outside of that.
It’s nice to watch Evan McGregor.
